- Crane Classifications: CMAA classifications and their significance.
- Crane Selection: Factors to consider when choosing a crane.
DAY 2: Crane Operation and Safety
- Pre-Operational Inspections: Daily, monthly, and annual inspections.
- Safe Operating Procedures: Lifting procedures, load handling, signaling, etc.
- Crane Controls: Pendant controls, radio controls, cabin controls.
- Load Charts and Capacity Ratings: Understanding and interpreting load charts.
- Safety Regulations and Standards: OSHA, ASME, and other relevant standards.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for crane operations.
DAY 3: Crane Testing and Load Calculations
- Crane Testing: Proof testing, load testing, and other required tests.

DAY 5: Frame, Rigging Tools, and Troubleshooting
- Crane Frame and Structure: Inspection and maintenance of the crane structure.
- Rigging Tools: Slings, shackles, hooks, and other rigging equipment.
- Rigging Techniques: Safe rigging practices and procedures.
- Troubleshooting Mechanical Issues: Identifying and resolving common mechanical problems.
- Analyzing past crane accidents and incidents.

Certificates
- On successful completion of this training course, GLOMACS Certificate will be awarded to the delegates
- Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE) : In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsor, one CPE credit is granted per 50 minutes of attendance
