Accountability and behaviour is vital when it comes to leadership development. In reality the leader is just one person, the real driving force behind a leader’s success is their team. It is up to the leader to demonstrate best practise, accountability, resilience, emotional intelligence and much more. The leader is a role model for their team, setting an example of the expectations and culture required of their company. In essence they are responsible for the future cohort and successfully handing over the baton.
With heightened pressures and targets. Many leaders are now considering how to get the highest level of performance from their people. However, it is important that the leader looks inwards and recognise the importance of their own conduct in achieving these targets. The single most important factor in driving a productive team in work and management is the behaviour and style of the leader. It is essential that the leader can look inwards and take ownership of any personal obstacles they unconsciously project but also take accountability for any unconscious bias. This Leadership transition training course is highly interactive, and participants are expected to discuss their unique situation as well as practise the tools they are learning.

DAY 2: Team Alignment, Psychological Safety, Coaching and Vision

- Coaching and the importance of self-guidance.
- Confidence.
DAY 3: Leadership and the importance of good relations.
- Relationships and the importance of good team dynamics
- Culture, sociology, and unconscious bias.
- Characteristics of an inclusive team.
- Non-traditional team structures.
- Delegation and the importance of succession planning.
DAY 4: Team Growth and Development
- What does success look like for the team.
- Positive and negative team behaviours.
- Transactional Analysis, adult and child theory.
- How to add value to the team.
- Recognising areas for growth and development
- What I want for the next 12 months.
DAY 5: Delivering difficult messages and performance conversations
- Fundamental attribution error, situation versus disposition.
- Unconscious bias and the role it plays in labelling.
- Unconditional Positive Regard, standing in the employee’s shoes.
- Messaging and the importance of being succinct.
- Conflict as a catalyst.
Certificates
- On successful completion of this training course, GLOMACS Certificate will be awarded to the delegates
- Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE) : In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsor, one CPE credit is granted per 50 minutes of attendance
Accreditation

NASBA have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
